 OVERVIEW: Responsible for the operation of manufacturing equipment related to the production of stators including but not limited to: metal preparation (blasting), adhesive application, assembly of stator tooling, rubber injection, breakdown area, rubber cutback and straightener.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Major Responsibilities • Position requires heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time • Records data and related paperwork for assigned area. • Ensures that product output meets established quality policy. • Ensures established productivity standards are obtained. • Responsible for observing all Good Manufacturing Practices and safety practices ensuring all machine guards and other safety equipment or devices are in place and in good working order before and during operation. • Insure all personal protection equipment is always monitored and used • Flexible with work schedule –days, nights, weekends, holidays, possible up to 12 hour shifts 7 days a week. • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. • Any other duties of a similar or lesser nature as required.
QUALIFICATIONS Education • High School Diploma or G.E.D.; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Job Description:

• This position will require working with your hands, bending, lifting, twisting, moving material, breaking down boxes, working as part of a team to achieve a common goal.
• The working environment is not climate controlled. There are fans located in the warehouses and the production area is well ventilated, but it can get warm in the summer and cool in the winter.
• Work on your feet for most of the shift, assisting on the production lines, walking from line to line helping different departments that need support, and moving around the facility.
• Must have the ability to work with and get along with others while in a work setting.
• Must wear the required PPE which includes safety glasses and steel toe boots.
• Being on time every day is especially important. Since this is a production-based organization, every employee on the production line is a valuable part of the overall operation and is counted on to be there every day and on time.
• You will clock in and out on this assignment. Your time clock information will be related to your weekly pay, and it is especially important to punch in and out on every shift.
• When running late for any reason or if you are unable to make it in for your shift, you will be responsible for contacting your ProSource Staffing office and your Shift Supervisor to let them know of your situation. Communication is important.

Goal of Function

• Safely operate equipment and perform all tasks necessary to ensure high quality production of OPS products within the facility.

Reporting Line

• Operations Manager

Duties/Responsibilities

• Follow all required EHS and Quality related requirements within the production facility
• Follow all SOPs (standard operating procedures) of OPS operations.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs as needed.
• Responsible for inspecting product during production, ensuring that production equipment is functioning correctly and maximizing utilization.
• Report any potential issue with production equipment, quality, or anything that affects EHS policy.
• Complete daily production report detailing: hours worked, material mixed or produced, utilization of equipment
• Complete daily inspection and reports for Forklift and/or hoist inspections.

Schedule

• Rotating day/night 12-hour shift schedule- every two weeks

Required qualifications

• Experience dealing with Chemicals
• Minimum High School degree or GED, AA Process Technology or related degree preferred
• Stable chemical or manufacturing employment history.
• Meet employment requirements for background checks and drug testing.
