Job Description

Position Summary: A Houston pump repair company is looking to add a Warehouse/Shop Helper at their NW Houston shop. The duties include but are not limited to the following:
 
  • Assist Mechanics and Machinists with keeping the warehouse & shop clean
  • Ensure safe and organized workable areas
  • Follow and promote shop safely rules and practices
  • There is potential for growth for someone that is mechanically inclined or that has the willingness to learn new trades
  • Sweep
  • Mop when needed
  • Cleaning up oily metal shavings and other materials generated by the Machinists
  • Taking out shop & warehouse trash
  • Mow & weed eat the yard & grounds outside
  • Operate a forklift - load & unload trucks/move material
  • Have some experience or learn how to operate an Overhead Crane
  • Must have the ability to work on own or as a team with others

Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 6:00 am to 3:30 pm (there could be some overtime)
