Job Description
The Warehouse Material Handler I will move, store, and prepare materials at our loading dock at distribution center using hand or machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks. This role will also include loading/unloading trucks, organizing stock, fulfilling orders, maintaining inventory records, and following safety protocols to ensure materials are moved accurately and efficiently.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Material Handling
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks, storage, and production areas using manual labor or equipment.Â
- Picking, packing, and staging materials to fulfill customer orders for shipment.
- Performing inventory counts, updating inventory records, and monitoring stock levels to identify low supplies.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move and position materials. Â Â Â
- Securing, wrapping, and labeling packages for outgoing shipments and checking incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Adhering to all safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and performing routine equipment inspections and cleaning.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems
- Understanding of proper stacking and storage methods
- Experience with operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one (active and valid driver’s license is required).
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Pay Rate: $18.00 hr. Compensation & Benefits:
