Job Description


Valve company in 77029 area is looking to add a Warehouse Associate to their team.  

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate – Order Picker role involves accurately and efficiently preparing orders, packaging products for shipping, and conducting daily cycle counting. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean work area and completing general warehouse tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, with a preference for prior warehouse or distribution center work. Key requirements include the ability to lift to 50 lbs., operate an RF Scanner (Epicor Prophet21 WMS), and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be adaptable to working independently or as part of a team, follow directions diligently, and be willing to work additional hours when necessary to meet tight deadlines.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Accurately and efficiently pick and prepare orders.

· Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling)

· Complete a daily cycle counting as assigned.

· Clean and maintain work area.

· Complete general warehouse tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

· Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Must be able to use/learn to use RF Scanner (Epicor Prophet21 WMS)

· Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with people.

· Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects daily in a fast-paced distribution environment.

· Able to work independently or as part of a team on a broad variety of projects.

· Willingness to work additional hours to meet tight deadlines.

· Able to follow directions.
