Job Description
The duties include but are not limited to the following:
Warehouse:
- The Tile Labor Tech supports the operations of taking care of the customer and facility
- Load and unload trucks for customers and distributors
- Work well with the other team members
- Operate forklift safely and effectively once trained through company standards
- Work inside of 20 & 40 ft. trailers to unload tile slabs
- Use Sawzall to cut anchors that secure the tile slabs inside trailer
- Assist forklift other operator with unloading slabs, acting as a ground guide while in motion
- Remove braces from tile slabs
- Access top of trucks in order to properly secure stone slabs
- Secure stone slab bundles when loading trucks for departure
- Must pay close attention to detail
- Move material
- Work inside and outside and in all types of weather
- This position does require lots of walking and moving from one side of the facility to the other to perform various tasks
- Will get dirty
- Lifting boxes 50-80 pounds (will use assistance when needed)
- Must wear all necessary PPE (Hard hat, safety reflective vest, Steel toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, back belt)
- Shorts & T shirt acceptable for work
- Must be dependable and on time
- Pay increase $$ when hired perm
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish will be a BIG PLUS
- 40 hours a week with - O/T based on workload
- Answer phones
- Work with Drivers - check in / Check out
- Work with customers
- Assist with paperwork and documents
- Filing, faxing, sending emails
- other administrative/office duties not noted
Days: Monday through Friday (could work some Saturdays if needed)
Hours: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (hours could vary slightly)
