Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Industrial Painter. The ideal candidate will take pride in his / her work and have an exceptional work ethic. Candidates who are self-starters and work with minimal supervision, have proven time and project management skills, and have a customer-focused attitude should apply.
Candidates must be able to:
· Strictly adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures as required by company and the law
· Ensure work is performed safely and efficiently
· Follow written and verbal instructions and perform assigned tasks as directed by supervision
- Move and operate larger equipment (including a double hoist crane)
- Perform basic maintenance duties, including monitoring oil levels and performing regular preventative maintenance for vertical boring mills, horizontal boring mills, lathes, surface grinders, etc.
- Prepare machinery, equipment, and parts surfaces using methods appropriate to remove dirt, oil, grease, old paint, etc.
- Erect scaffolding or set up ladder to perform tasks above ground level
- Apply industrial paint to surfaces using a spray gun, brush, and / or roller
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
