Job Description
LAMINATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pattern, cutting, rolling fiberglass
- Proper use of resin and putties
- Mixes catalyst into resin and saturates cloth and mat with mixture, using brush
- laying out fiberglass mat and using rollers to ensure resin is evenly distributed across part being made.
- Laminate layers of fiberglass on molds to form small parts
- Places layers of mat and cloth in mold and smooths out wrinkles with hand roller
- Trims excess material from mold, using hand tools
- Sanding and grinding parts
- Prep and paint parts
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked on work orders.
- Other duties as assigned

- Able to work with great concentration and precision, great mechanical aptitude and math skills
- Keen eye for detail and results-driven
- Technical skills including controls and instrumentations
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
POSITION TYPE/HOURS:
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates in a manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses hand tools and equipment.
