Lab Technician / QA-QC Chemist

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Products testing: Dry and liquid chemical raw materials and blends
- Types of products: Hazardous and non-hazardous chemical raw materials for agriculture products, industrial cleaners, and oilfield related chemical products
- Calibration and Chemical Analysis
- Not limited to: HPLC, IC, LC, Potentiometric Titration, pH, Density (Specific Gravity), Viscosity, Surface tension, Interfacial Tension, GC, ICP
- Data Entry: Analysis data entered into ERP system for Certificate of Analysis generation
- Lab Organization, Safety and Hygiene
- MSDS comprehension, general laboratory, and analytical chemistry aptitude
- Project and Process guideline following
- Following Chemical HSE protocols
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree preferable (Chemistry, Math, Biology, Physics, Microbiology, Horticulture, Environmental Science et.al.), or 2-year degree (Chemistry, Math, Biology, Physics, Microbiology, Horticulture, Environmental Science et.al.) with at least 2 years’ experience in a laboratory environment or in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding and comprehension of analytical chemistry, chemical analysis, or physical analysis of raw materials for industrial use
- General comprehension or understanding of calibration and operation of analytical equipment in laboratory setting for QA/QC testing
- Basic computer skills with Excel, Word, Outlook, and general ERP system data entry
- General problem-solving capabilities
