Job Description


Underground utility contractor is seeking an experienced excavator operator for an underground utility crew - candidates MUST have experience with working on crews installing sewer & water lines - applicants that do not have experience will not be considered.
  • handling trench boxes and steel trench plates or basic underground experience. 
  • It will be mandatory that the candidate has underground trench safety experience.  
  • should know how to build a trench box and how to install it. 
  • should also know how to shore using steel plates.  
  • understand the OSHA rules of excavation 
  • able to install an OSHA approved pit with zero shoring.
