Company in the 77053 area looking to add a couple of Crane Operator / Order Puller / Loader. We currently have (1) position on our day shift (7:00am – 3:30pm) and (2) positions available on the 2nd shift (4pm – 12:30 with some overtime) for overhead crane operators and I’m looking for some qualified applicants. Rate of pay will be between $16.00 to $19.00, based on experience.
Description:
Under the direction of the supervisor or his appointed lead person, operates a double hoist overhead crane to load and unload steel products.
Responsibilities:
Understands and performs all functions associated with the operation of the double hoist overhead crane. Performs daily inspection and reports any repairs needed to maintenance.
Uses and understands measuring instruments….tape measure and micrometer.
Receives and checks material for grade, thickness, and size. Color codes material per procedure.
Requirements:
2 years prior experience operating the overhead crane.
Must be able to read, write, have knowledge of basic mathematics and read a tape measure.
In house crane certification required
Must be able to work any shift and overtime when needed.
Knowledge of steel is a plus but not necessary.
Currently have (2) positions available on the 2nd shift (4pm – 12:30 with some overtime) for overhead crane operators. Rate of pay will be between $15.00 to $18.00, based on experience
