Customer Service Representative

Job Description
Customer Service Representative will be responsible for receiving/confirming orders; order entry; assisting the sales dept. with quotes and communication with customers; communication with the plant departments, management, and other office personnel. Administrative responsibilities include answering phones and greeting visitors.
Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service preferably in the chemical industry:
- Demonstrate organizational, customer service and follow up skills
- Demonstrate phone skills; ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills with ability to successfully communicate verbally and in writing
- Demonstrate accuracy in data entry and report generation
- Consistently demonstrate a positive, constructive, and cooperative attitude in the business environment
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of quotes, inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
- Demonstrate problem solving and communication skills
- Demonstrate computer skills (e.g.: Outlook, Quickbooks, Excel and Word)
- Able to multi-task
- Able to analyze information and respond
- Self-motivated learner
- Positive attitude
- Flexible, engaged team player
Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
