Job Description


Customer Service Representative will be responsible for receiving/confirming orders; order entry; assisting the sales dept. with quotes and communication with customers; communication with the plant departments, management, and other office personnel. Administrative responsibilities include answering phones and greeting visitors.

Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service preferably in the chemical industry:
  • Demonstrate organizational, customer service and follow up skills
  • Demonstrate phone skills; ability to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills with ability to successfully communicate verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrate accuracy in data entry and report generation
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive, constructive, and cooperative attitude in the business environment
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of quotes, inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
  • Demonstrate problem solving and communication skills
  • Demonstrate computer skills (e.g.: Outlook, Quickbooks, Excel and Word)
  • Able to multi-task
  • Able to analyze information and respond
  • Self-motivated learner
  • Positive attitude
  • Flexible, engaged team player

Days: Monday through Friday

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
