Job Description
The Cryogenic Trailer Service Manager oversees the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of cryogenic trailers and associated equipment. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing high-quality service to meet the needs of customers in the gas industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Lead and supervise a team of cryogenic trailer technicians and service personnel.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.
- Manage scheduling, performance evaluations, and resource allocation.
- Oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs of cryogenic trailers.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts and service needs.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations related to cryogenic trailer operations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT and OSHA requirements.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
- Interface with customers to address service requests, concerns, and technical issues.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of service issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and inventory.
- Prepare reports on service performance, maintenance activities, and equipment status.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Several years of experience in cryogenic equipment service and maintenance, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of cryogenic systems, safety regulations, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Days: Monday through Friday (could work Saturday)
Hours: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (hours could vary slightly)
