ProSource People is Hiring – Chemical Plant Batch BlenderLocation: Pasadena, TX
Pay: $22.00–$24.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Rotating Shifts (Rotates Every 2 Weeks)
Job Type: Temp-to-HireShift Schedule· 1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM· 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM· 3rd Shift: 5:30 PM – 2:00 AMPosition OverviewProSource People is seeking an experienced Chemical Plant Batch Blender for a fast-growing and established batch blending facility in Pasadena, TX. This position is responsible for safely blending chemical products, operating plant equipment, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining compliance with all plant safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have previous chemical plant experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work rotating shifts.Job Responsibilities· Read, understand, and follow all company policies and procedures· Follow SOPs and blend instructions to produce products accurately· Operate pumps, blenders, air compressors, scales, and related plant equipment· Load and unload blend tanks and containers· Load and unload bulk trucks· Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the facility· Monitor blending operations and maintain product quality standards· Perform material handling and inventory-related tasks· Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blending requirements· Follow all plant safety procedures and PPE requirements· Maintain a clean and organized work environment· Assist with additional plant duties as assignedRequirements· Previous chemical plant batch blending experience required· Strong knowledge of plant safety procedures· Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs· Forklift operating experience required· Ability to wear PPE, including half-face and full-face respirators, supplied air equipment, rain suits, and rain boots for extended periods· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as required· Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, push, pull, and perform physical labor throughout the shift· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality· Basic math skills required· Ability to work rotating shifts and extended hours as needed· Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsAdditional Information· Rotating shift schedule every two weeks· Industrial chemical plant environment· Exposure to warehouse traffic, equipment noise, and varying temperatures· Drug-free and non-smoking workplace· Pay increases available based on demonstrated qualifications and performance· Benefits availableImportant Note – Safety Sensitive Role
