Pipefitter / Assembler - Stainless Steel Pipe (Cryogenics)

Job Description
Job Duties:
- Working with stainless steel pipe
- Plan layout, and installation in accordance with instructions or work requirements using drawings, blueprints, sketches, and manuals.
- Assemble various sizes of stainless-steel pipe
- Measures, cut, assemble, and install tubing and piping
- Cut, Fit, Tack work
- Mount, assemble, and install instruments & associated control/sensing devices.
- Observe function of installed equipment and system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
- Repair or replace faulty piping, valves, instruments, and other devices.
- Assemble, disassemble, and perform inspection and testing of machines, equipment, and other products by following specifications, written procedures, and verbal instruction.
- Drills, taps, or reams holes.
- Align components, bolts, screws
- Work well alone, with others, or as a team
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience cutting, fitting, & tacking pipe. Skilled in using various hand tools and power tools for cutting and bending pipes.
- Must be able to measure/cut/thread and install piping for the cryogenic industry
- Must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Hours: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
