Positions: Mechanic I, II, III
Mechanic I
Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $20.00 hr.
Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $22.00 hr. (Increased pay scale possible for additional experience)
Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: 24.00 hr. (Increased pay scale possible for additional experience)
Pay Rate: (See the Pay Rate listed for Each Level of Experience I, II, III)
Days: Monday through Friday (every other Saturday)
Hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
(Saturday rotation: Will work every other Saturday)
Mechanic I
Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $20.00 hr.
- Ability to diagnose and repair various systems associated with trailer and dolly repair to include but not limited to: ABS diagnostics, roll doors, body repair, accident repair, air brake system inspection and repair, electrical system diagnosis and repair.
- Perform all work in a safe manner.
- Understand and follow operating instructions for various tools and equipment.
- Follow good housekeeping standards.
- Operate a forklift.
- Assist in a variety of shop operations such as inventory control and customer interface.
- Assist other Technicians.
- Perform welding and cutting.
- Understand and follow the minimum periodic inspection standards per company policies.
- Perform repairs in an efficient and timely manner in order to meet customer expectations.
- Ability to write concise work orders that mirror work performed daily.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

- Understand and follow the minimum periodic inspection standards per company policies.
- Perform repairs in an efficient and timely manner to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain complete, timely, and accurate records on all maintenance performed.
- Ability to use welding skills and knowledge of metals to complete trailer repairs.
- Perform welding and cutting.
- Perform all work in a safe manner.
- Follow good housekeeping standards.
- Operate a forklift.
- Work shifts specified by Service Manager or Shop Foreman.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

- Utilize service manuals, technical bulletins, and various written directives.
- Must be able to work any shift.
- Own necessary basic tools.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
- May also engage in standing, lifting, twisting, turning, climbing a ladder, etc.
- Due to the open environment of the shop, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
- Must also be able to tolerate wearing personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to, a hard hat, steel-toed safety shoes, hearing protection, respirators, safety glasses, goggles.
