Forklift Operator

Job Description
Essential Functions, Job Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for loading and unloading trucks and containers utilizing a forklift.
- Responsible for storing products in the warehouse utilizing a forklift.
- Conduct a maintenance check at the beginning of each shift.
- Charge the forklift battery as needed.
- Properly communicates all amounts of materials received or stored.
- Operate a scanner as needed.
- Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and re-packing as needed.
- Clean up the working area as required.
- Participate in OSHA, DOT, and forklift re-training per policy/procedures.
- The backup for this position is a Warehouse Worker.
- Perform all other duties or projects as assigned.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communication.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial
- The employee is occasionally required to lift or carry up to 20 lbs.
Days: Monday through Friday - also working weekends; Saturday & Sunday
Hours/Shifts: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm / 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
(The two shifts rotate every 2 weeks)
