Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: The ideal candidate is an energetic individual, a team player, and can provide services necessary for the efficient operation of this position. This is an In-Person position that will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.

 Pay Rate: $16.00 hr. (DOE)
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Make sure all paperwork is current and is filed in the proper place throughout the day.
  • Receive in all items, meaning check count, dimensions, lb. rating, drawings etc. to verify all are correct.
  • Verify our PO versus vendor packing list.  Take items to proper location. Tag all material for orders and stock.
  • Notify correct people of any issues with a PO.
  • Receive PO’s in ERP system. 
  • Check to make sure all PO’s are received daily.
  • Update notes in ERP system as items come in.
  • Keep area safe and clean.
  • Cross train in Distribution so that you can fill in during lunch, or as needed.
  • Help Distribution put away stock items, pull orders and/or material.     
  • Help with cycle counts.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATION INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in an inventory/shipping position.
  • Must have previous experience handling high volume inbound and outbound distributions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills            
  • Must be punctual and able to work each day.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to stand, crouch and lift objects up to 70 pounds throughout a normal workday.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.        
  • Moderate computer proficiency.
Days: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
